Join us on March 26th for our monthly meeting. This month we will have Sheryl Tricocci join us from the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Our conversation will introduce facility managers to NFPA, the System of Safety including the Fire Life-Safety Ecosystem, the Safety Doesn't Happen by Chance campaign, Wildfire Preparedness Day and updates to NFPA Link!
From the buildings we live and work in, to the electrical systems that power them, and even the protocols first responders follow in emergencies, NFPA standards impact nearly every aspect of modern life. NFPA develops roughly 300 codes and standards that serve as the foundation for fire, electrical, and life safety across the globe. These documents are not arbitrary; they are the product of a rigorous, transparent, and consensus-driven process grounded in real-world expertise.
more than 20 years as an NFPA member! Sheryl is passionate about advancing NFPA’s Mission to eliminate death, injury, property and economic loss due to fire and electrical hazards. Her role
as Regional Director is to share that knowledge and passion with industry stakeholders and the public.
Sheryl’s experience includes various sales, management and director roles in the life safety and fire alarm industry. She has served and led numerous task groups and technical committees for
NFPA, ICC and SFPE. She has also worked with industry organizations such as the Center for Campus Fire Safety and served as a member of the Board of Directors for The Automatic Fire
Alarm Association.
Sheryl is an NFPA Certified Fire Protection Specialist, holds a NICET IV in Fire Alarm Systems Technologies, a Level II in Inspection, Testing and Maintenance, has a bachelor’s degree in
security management and an MBA with a specialization in International Business.
