This year we have decided to push our annual fundraising event to the spring AND in lieu of our regular November meeting on the 2nd Thursday, we are going to start a new tradition and have a Friendsgiving!  This is where we, as a group, provide a service to a non-profit.  We have chosen Camp Carefree!  Some of you were at our September meeting when Rhonda Rodenbough spoke to us about Camp Carefree.  Others were able to join is for a site visit to Camp Carefree for our October tour.  (See photos in our gallery)

Our first Friendsgiving will be held on Saturday, November 12th between 8am - 4pm.  We would certainly appreciate your participation any portion of the day; our thoughts are time slots either 8-12 or 12-4. There are several of us who plan to stay for the day but want to say to you "We are grateful for any time during this day that you are available to join us"!   Lunch will be provided.  We ask that you register so we know how many and who to expect.  There is no cost to you.

We look forward to this time of working side by side.  Camp Carefree will have small projects that we will help them with.  If you are not familiar with them, please take a moment and look at their website.  They do amazing work for children with chronic illnesses and their families.
